EA Play 2020 Live Stream: Watch the Star Wars Squadrons Gameplay Reveal and More
EA Play will not only bring you the Star Wars: Squadrons gameplay reveal but will also tell you the latest about Apex Legends, Madden 21, and more!

Closing out another busy week of E3 replacement events is EA Play 2020, Electronic Arts’ annual games showcase that will hash out the publisher’s current-gen and next-gen plans for the rest of the year and into 2021. Expect to see EA’s sports portfolio at the show, especially FIFA 21, as well as some new AAA games.
Could we see a new Titanfall spinoff! Actually, we will also accept a new Titanfall game!
One game EA fans should definitely expect to see is Star Wars: Squadrons, the new space combat game from Motive Studios. The game pits two teams of five against each other in multiplayer dogfights and objective-based matches. There’s also a single-player story component we’ll likely hear way more about during EA Play.
So far, we know the story will center on both the New Republic and Imperial pilots from Vanguards and Titan Squadrons, respectively. We will also see the return of Rebel heroes Rogue Squadron games and let us pilot an X-wing as Luke Skywalker. Just saying.
EA Play is set to happen on Thursday, June 18 at 7 pm ET. You can watch all of the big announcements and gameplay trailers right here:
EA’s digital conference comes just a week after Sony shattered the internet with the reveal of the PlayStation console, which we’ve never seen before from Sony. It’s also curvy as hell, breaking away from the traditional rectangular shape that most PlayStations have embraced.
We also learned of quite a few exciting PS5 exclusives, including Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Will EA be able to top these announcements at EA Play?
We’ll keep you posted on this and much more!
